As an experienced hypnotherapist, I use a combination of powerful techniques including Hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Time Line Therapy™ to maximise the changes in your life. Please find a description of the techniques I use below:
Time Line Therapy™ Techniques.
Time Line Therapy™ techniques allow freedom from undesired negative emotions; such as fear, anger, sadness and anxiety, by releasing these emotions from the memories that harvest them. You are then able to react freely to future situations – without the emotional baggage of the past. Your “Time Line” is how you unconsciously store your memories or how you unconsciously know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. People don’t change consciously. The Time Line Therapy™ process allows you to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change “inappropriate” programming in minutes rather than days, months or years
It is a technique, which produces long-lasting transformation very quickly, faster than what is currently called Brief Therapy. These powerful Time Line Therapy™ techniques are becoming the method of choice to make fast, effective, long-term changes in behaviour.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to the brain and nervous system. Linguistic literally means words. It relates to both external and internal dialogue. Other elements include voice tone and body language. Programming describes how our behaviour is formed, produced and changed using the software of the brain.
NLP is the study of how people think and behave. Because people are complex, NLP offers a structured approach to simplify the complexity. NLP is a positive approach to help you create the results you want. It combines a multitude of simple and practical techniques with profound understanding of ‘what works’ in the human experience.
Hypnotherapy
In hypnotherapy you are guided into hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. It is literally therapy done while in hypnosis and can be thought of as an effective and speedy form of psychotherapy. Hypnotherapy can change your patterns of behaviour and perceptions, enabling irrational fears, phobias, habits, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome. With the help of the hypnotherapist, you are able to look at problems differently and maybe discover solutions to problems that had been missed before. Hypnotherapy and NLP can quickly and effectively treat many of the things that you might otherwise have considered visiting a counsellor for, and a lot more.
Using hypnosis to gain access to the unconscious mind allows the therapist to suggest positive and beneficial ideas which become firmly planted in your unconscious. It is also possible to recall and resolve past memories which relate to current blockages. Old, outdated and inappropriate patterns of behaviour can be dropped, in favour of new and more rewarding ways of being.
“NLP is a way of reprogramming the brain in order to change negative behaviour. It works by identifying subconscious pessimistic patterns, then zap them by replacing them with new thoughts and images." Sunday Times Magazine.
